Better Canvassing Experience (BCE) was built on a simple idea: there’s a better way to do face-to-face fundraising.

Based in Portland, Oregon, we focus on creating meaningful, respectful connections between communities and the causes that matter most. We believe fundraising should be rooted in integrity, fairness, and real human connection — not pressure or shortcuts.

Our Story

BCE was created to challenge the status quo of street fundraising. Too often, the industry prioritizes short-term results over people, both the public and the fundraisers themselves

We set out to build something different: a model where ethical engagement, shared success, and community impact come first. By investing in our team and staying true to our values, we create better outcomes for everyone involved — our contractors, our nonprofit partners, and the communities we serve.
